There are two special gifts we can give our children
One is Roots, The other is Wings

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.Your playing small doesn't help the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do.We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us, it is in everyone. And, as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

I remember going door to door back in 2000 and handing out flyers for prop 22 and talking with people and found that about 99% of them absolutely beleived a marriage should be between a man and a women. Not one I came across was mormon. Now 8 years later, the majority vote (again) in favor of a marriage between a man and women, and still the mormon vote only makes up a small % of that vote. So why are people putting so much effort in bashing the mormon church?
